Es muy positivo informarse y estar conectados con el bienestar para acceder a la calidad de vida que deseamos. Adem\u00e1s, las personas mayores son elementos fundamentales para sus familias, amistades y comunidades, por eso es importante que sigan aprendiendo y desarrollando capacidades de autocuidado para seguir contribuyendo personal y socialmente. Para ello, compartimos algunos consejos \u00fatiles:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Actividades sociales<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las personas pueden tener una <strong>mejor calidad de vida realizando planes sencillos<\/strong> como ir a un centro comunitario, club o al cine, pintar mandalas, hacer jardiner\u00eda, o jugar a las cartas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las actividades sociales y la sensaci\u00f3n de productividad <strong>reducen los efectos del estr\u00e9s en el cuerpo<\/strong> y ayudan a las personas a mantenerse involucradas y activas en la comunidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Alimentaci\u00f3n saludable<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La incorporaci\u00f3n diaria de <strong>frutas y verduras<\/strong> brinda a nuestro cuerpo los nutrientes necesarios para mantenerse sano y fuerte. <strong>Reducir el consumo de sal, az\u00facar, alimentos ultraprocesados<\/strong> es clave para mantener h\u00e1bitos saludables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a1El agua tambi\u00e9n es muy importante! Se aconseja consumir al menos <strong>2 litros o entre 6 y 8 vasos de agua<\/strong> para mantenerse hidratado\/a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Efectos cuando dejamos de fumar tabaco<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>En 20 minutos<\/strong> el ritmo card\u00edaco y la presi\u00f3n arterial disminuye a niveles normales.<br><strong>En 12 horas<\/strong> mejora el ox\u00edgeno en el cuerpo.<br><strong>En d\u00edas<\/strong> mejora el olfato, gusto y piel.<br><strong>En 2 semanas<\/strong> la funci\u00f3n pulmonar mejora.<br><strong>En 9 semanas<\/strong> se reduce el riesgo de infecciones pulmonares.<br><strong>Al a\u00f1o<\/strong>, el riesgo de enfermedad cardiovascular se reduce a la mitad.<br><strong>A los cinco a\u00f1os<\/strong>, el riesgo de derrame cerebral, c\u00e1ncer bucal y de c\u00e1ncer c\u00e9rvico-uterino en las mujeres baja a la mitad.<br><strong>A los diez a\u00f1os<\/strong>, el riesgo de c\u00e1ncer pulmonar y de c\u00e1ncer pancre\u00e1tico se reduce.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Dejar de fumar es beneficioso para personas de todas las edades, a\u00fan si presentan afecciones de salud relacionadas al tabaco. <strong>\u00a1Nunca es demasiado tarde!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Actividad f\u00edsica<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hacer <strong>deporte<\/strong>, caminar o simplemente moverse todos los d\u00edas mantiene al <strong>cuerpo saludable y mejor preparado<\/strong> para combatir enfermedades. De esta manera, nuestros m\u00fasculos, articulaciones, huesos y tendones permanecen activos y funcionando en todo su potencial, lo que <strong>permite estar m\u00e1s fuertes y con mayor energ\u00eda.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Aprendizaje permanente<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mantener la <strong>mente activa <\/strong>es un factor clave para el envejecimiento saludable.
